Vihaan Ranjan

Hi, I’m Vihaan Ranjan.
I’m a high school student passionate about Electrical & Computer Engineering, exploring how hardware and software work together to solve real-world problems.

I enjoy building, experimenting, and understanding why things work—not just how.

About Me

I love solving puzzles and have interest in ML and QML studies.

I enjoy building things and understanding how they work, from physical components to digital systems. Whether it’s assembling hardware or designing software logic, I’m most engaged when I can take something apart, analyze it, and improve how it functions. This curiosity drives me to experiment, iterate, and learn by doing.

I approach challenges by breaking complex problems into smaller, manageable parts. I value efficiency, logical reasoning, and practical testing, and I enjoy refining solutions until they work reliably. Problem-solving, for me, is not just about finding an answer but understanding why that answer works.

My interests lie at the intersection of hardware and software, where systems thinking is essential. Working with both has helped me develop a structured way of thinking—considering constraints, interactions, and real-world applications rather than isolated concepts.

I am increasingly interested in Machine Learning and Quantum Machine Learning, particularly in how data-driven models identify patterns and how quantum computing could expand current computational limits. I hope to explore these fields through research, combining mathematics, computing, and engineering to develop innovative solutions.
